Efficient conversion of sugars

The specially developed heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria are designed to start produce acetic acid very quickly, even at high pH levels. This deprives the yeast of its food source when sugar levels are low. Conversely, at high sugar levels, a low pH is quickly reached, thus inhibiting yeast growth.

High aerobic stability

The PIONEER 11M55 supports the ensiling of severely damaged crops.

THE use of the PIONEER® 11M55 is recommended under the following conditions:

TM content: high (above 40%)
very high sugar content
Ripe harvest season
Significant problems are expected with secondary heating.
Grass: Very late mowing – dry material

These characteristics distinguish the product:

Heterofermentative lactobacilli : production of acetic acid and 1,2-propanediol
Fast and efficient securing the shredded material : protection against secondary heating
High osmotic tolerance : Action of lactic acid bacteria at (very) high levels of dry matter (DM)

Application
- Mix the powder with lukewarm water.
- Mix well by stirring/shaking.
- Ready to use immediately after mixing with water.
- It can be used in any liquid dosing device.

- Do not mix more solution than can be used within 24 hours.
