Improved variety with red, thick-walled and slightly conical fruit up to 15 cm long.
Also known as The Elephants Ears is a rare large type of sweet paprika from Croatia. The name comes from the shape, as the pepper flattens out when fully grown and resembles the shape of an elephant's ear.
In Croatia, this pepper is usually roasted, stuffed and used for sauces and various condiments. In Croatia and Serbia, it is very popular for Ajvar, a famous canned chili pepper. The plant produces peppers over 15 cm long and over 10 cm wide. The fruits ripen from green to red.
