GRANSTAR 50 SG Sunflower & Wheat Herbicide 100 gr.

GRANSTAR 50 SG is a selective post-emergence herbicide for the control of broadleaf weeds in cereals (soft and durum wheat, barley), olive and sunflower. Tribenuron-methyl acts transsystemically, it is absorbed mainly by the foliage and secondarily by the root of the weeds, moves to the extreme meristems, shoot and root and prevents their growth

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Sunflower: used only in sunflower Hybrids which are resistant to GRANSTAR 50 SG For the control of broadleaf weeds*** (annual and perennial) a post-emergence application at a dose of 3.75 g sc./hectare is recommended when the sunflower is in the 2- 8 leaves.

Wheat (soft and hard), barley: For the control of broad-leaved weeds* (annual and perennial) it is recommended to apply after germination at a dose of 2-3 g sc./acre after the 3 leaves of the crop and until the "flag leaf" has fully developed.

Olive: For the control of broad-leaved weeds** (annual and perennial) it is recommended to spray the weeds in a directed manner in Autumn or late Winter-early Spring at a dose of 2.5-4 g sc./hectare avoiding the contact of the droplets of the spraying solution with the foliage , tender shoots, offshoots and unhealed pruning wounds. Spraying is only allowed in established olive groves from the third (3rd) year of their planting onwards.

In Sunflower, the addition of TREND 90 SL non-ionizable surfactant at a ratio of 0.1% by volume or CODACIDE at a dose of 125 ml/str is necessary for the best effect of the formulation. The dose is proportional to the stage of growth of the weeds. Soil moisture and hot weather accelerate its action, while extreme drought and extreme cold slow it down. No need to re-spray if it rains after 2 hours of spraying. Results are best when spraying is done early and the weeds are small and in their vigorous growth stage. FLOWERING PARTS OF CEREALS TO WHICH GRANSTAR 50 SG PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT HAS BEEN APPLIED SHOULD NOT BE USED AS ANIMAL FEED OR FOR SEED PRIOR TO SEED HARVEST.

Only used on Sunflower Hybrids resistant to GRANSTAR 50 SG. 

Maximum number of applications/growing period (for all crops): 1 Volume of liquid spray for all crops: 20-40 liters of water.
